I am a tiger, what am I afraid of? / 我是老虎,我怕什么?

The series ‘I’m a tiger, what am I afraid of?’ presents six short narratives. In each piece, we follow the main character of a tiger as it goes on adventures where it meets fluttery butterflies which become its friends and plump vegetables that fill its belly. Portrayed usually as the Ruler of the beasts on Earth, in Chinese culture the Tiger is known as the king of the mountain as it wears the Chinese character for king ‘王’ (Wáng) proudly upon its head. In this series, the tiger takes on a playful childlike persona, as we investigate the imagery and symbolism of this animal ingrained in traditional Chinese culture.
